Tough Calls

When the dark is falling and refuses to lift
When the swindlers advance and continue to grift
When the dark side simply gets out of hand
I make tough calls.  I'm the cleanup man

When someone has to die
Should it be the woman or the man?
Which will cause more damage?
Ask the cleanup man.

Do we bomb in the daytime?
Do we kill all that we can?
Or at night when the janitors are in?
What say you, cleanup man?

Who picks who lives and who dies?
Who weighs the actions of clans?
Tough calls have to be made.
I am the cleanup man.

If we take them out now,
innocents will die by our hand.
If we wait, they will kill more,
as they have planned.

Who decides what is best
Who lays the best plan?
Do we take one to save two?
Call the cleanup man.

Every life has a value.
every move has a price.
Cleanup is an art
you better think twice

All options are bad
who wants this ball?
We have a man for that
Give him a call.

Spin and logistics
blowback and pain.
Deniability
is Part of the game.

Right's just less wrong
in the politics of haste
wrong is more wrong,
Depending on taste.

kill hundreds to save thousands
but nev'r utter this fact
for the hundreds were children
but prevented attack

We need some options
All of these are too grim
This one is cheaper,
But leaves only men.

There is no wrong and no right...
No right or left-leaners.
All you see is an illusion...
brought t'you by the cleaners.
